Grow Up!
Self-Control
March 29 & 30, 2025Primary Text: Titus 2:11-13
Last Teaching: Grow Up! – Sowing Generously
1) The Golden Law
Galatians 6:7-8: Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
Matthew 7:12: So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this
sums up the Law and the Prophets.
2) Doing Good
Galatians 6:9-10: Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
3) Sowing Generously
2 Corinthians 9:6-7: Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
