PLAY DOUGH

1 c. water
2 Tbsp. oil
Several drops food coloring

Heat in saucepan over medium heat, then add:

1/2 c. salt
1 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar

Mix all ingredients together. Stir over medium heat until mixture pulls away from the side fo the pan. Cool slightly, then knead while warm to get all the lumps out. Stir in an airtight container.

SILLY PUTTY

2 parts Elmer's white glue (not school glue)
1 part Sta-Flo liquid starch

Mix well. Let dry a bit before using. Depending on the humidity, you may need a little more starch or a little more glue.
